Script: (I did not get to read this because I had pharygitis, but this is my voiceover. I chose the song "The Best Day" because it describes a similar feeling or idea as the story below.)
When I was thinking of all the questions for interview, my daughter asked me what was the most influential event of my life. She chose the question for me, and she was the answer. I thought it would be a great idea to share with her and everyone else how we became a family. Becoming a family and how we became a family is one of the best most influential moments in my life. It defines who I am, what I will become and the future of my life. I would never be the same person if it weren't for my husband and children. They taught me more than I could ever teach them. I look at my two children and the bond they share, and it amazes me. They truly share something that they will never have with anyone else. Through everything they will always be brother and sister. That is a constant I never had in my life and one that will provide a bright future for them. They will be more confident, understanding, loving, supportive, empathetic, and nurturing because they developed those things first with each other. My favorite times are the tiny moments when no one is watching and she is kind to him, or he reaches for her hand, or gives her a kiss. They share a moment or gesture that is completely unselfish and loving. That's the best part of my life. It is more influential on the person I have become than anything else I have done. I helped to create them, mold them, they will become who they are because of me. You can't get anymore important than that. They are my legacy.
